The Volkswagen ID.BUZZ weighs 1026 to 1803 pounds more than the Ford Mustang Mach-E. The NHTSA advises that heavier vehicles are much safer in collisions than their significantly lighter counterparts.

To make loading groceries and cargo easier when your hands are full, the ID.BUZZ Pro S Plus’ liftgate can be opened and closed just by a gesture, leaving your hands completely free. The Mustang Mach-E doesn’t offer a hands-free gesture to open its liftgate, forcing you to put cargo down if your hands are full.

The ID.BUZZ has a 2600 lbs. towing capacity. The Mustang Mach-E has no towing capacity.
